Tweens at last week’s Camp Tween program got to test drive WNPL’s newest tech, a mobile maker lab dedicating to building and creating. Check out what tween Paden created, an awesome car and look for the mobile maker lab in future programs.
National Poetry Month is one of our favorite months at WNPL. Last week during Tween Create Club we made spine label poems from our favorite poetry books and they are pretty awesome. Tween Create Club will be writing poetry again this Thursday, 4:30-5:45pm and there are spots still open.

Tweens and teens at WNPL had a great time this past Saturday using donated toys, tools, hot glue and needles and thread to make FRANKENMOSTERS! The new creations are as creepy as they are creative. We’d like to thank the Friends of the Library who support this and all programs at WNPL. We couldn’t be as awesome without you!
On Thursday, September 26th, WNPL’s Tween Create Club explored long exposure photography and created some amazing light painting. Inspired by a program at the Exploratorium Museum in San Fransisco, our tweens explored how long exposure photography works and how it can manipulate how light is captured on camera.
